Setting up Local and Remote Viewing
4. You must install the ActiveX
®
plug-in for DVR Netviewer to function. Click the attention bar at
the top of the main page and select Install ActiveX Control. DVR Netviewer will reset.
5. Log in with your LAN user name and password.
6. From the security window, click Install. DVR Netviewer launches.
NOTE: ActiveX must also be installed on 4-channel systems when using remote backup. For
more details, see “Backup” on page 51.
Connecting to the system using Safari (Mac)
Safari requires a plug-in before Net Viewer can run.
To install the Net Viewer plug-in:
1. Connect to your system locally or remotely.
2. Enter the DVR’s user name and password.
